I know but the mpd is kinda catching the soot more the the pipe walls. It's difficult for me to take it all apart just to wipe the pipe damper off. When I could just brush the baro flapper off once a week. I can't run it with out something to regulate my chimneys draft.

I'm going to order a baro and give it a try I don't think it will hurt anything.

Been doing a lot of reading on here the baro should really help. Sounds good how it feeds air to the chimney during high draft instead of it going thru the air vents in my stove.

Yes, that is quite exactly what happens. The benefit is that it keeps your combustion air flow steady instead of variable. This will even out the burn rate of the fuel. Although, using bit coal I would expect there will still be a peak and trough but maybe not quite so dynamic.

Definently have the peak.

Been forgetting to mention the stove paperwork states it will over fire with a draft above .06 from experience they are spot on. She gets to hot after about .05 reading.they highly recommend a baro.
