I just purchased a Crawford 22 wood parlor stove for $100 no pics right now, I have to get it tomorrow night after work.

I know its not a coal stove but it dose have some neat history, I'm removing it from the historic south Woodstock Vermont general store. I don't know if any of you have ever seen the chevy chase movie the funny farm but this is the same store where the "Rocky mountain oyster" scene was shot and was likely being used at the time. This is possibly the original heating system, no proof though. New owners new insurance company don't want it in the building, lucky me walked in and asked about it 1 hour after they got the notice from the insurance company.

Before I remove it I will take some pics that I will keep with the stove.

I thought it was cool, thought I would share.

Dana

Rochester, a little area referred to as Bingo,--near Granville. Biggest close city would be Rutland.
