As far as replacing the windows in this room... it seems futile to install new windows b4 replacing the wall.

Available $$$$ will determine what & when on any projects... Plus,i have only my 1 son to help me with projects & that has to be worked around his schedule too.

Windy glad to hear you and I think everyone else here has a pretty good handle on life with things working out. The attitude about spring new flowers and grass a real healthy one in my mind. An update on my condition is the blood tests for the most part coming around to normal. The last thing on the list is to get strength back to where it was, my back is never going to heal as that has been a problem for over 30 years and learned how to work around it. I am hoping to be a coal burner again next winter as while the oil sort of heated the house it just does just not compare to coal.

Hope you get a chance to do your windows and floor. I can attest to the wonderful part of heated floors as y shop floor is heated and it heats everything in the shop from the floor conducting heat to the machines or if i had it furniture. The Romans millennia ago ran flue gases in chambers under the floor to heat it with air heating the stone floor. When I was a bit more flexible if my back hurt I would put a pad on the shop floor and let the heat soak in during the winter. Mine is 6 inches thick concrete with rebar and weighs tons. If memory serves me right you have a trailer and doubt the floor would stand 30 tons of concrete and steel. Mine is between 38,000 to 40,000 lbs.

My house is a trailer with additions on the one side, one addition was obviously built as a concrete deck & then later closed in. That is the cold floor. I also have non-heated concrete floor in my repair shop.
