I am looking to purchase a DS Machine stove for a cabin. I have never used a coal stove and through my limited research have found this to be a good alternative?? to pellet stoves. My questions are:
How does this brand compare to Harman?
Is this a good choice for occasional use as in this is a recreational cabin, hunting, time away from home?
Hard to start and keep going?
How long will it take to get the place heated up? Cabin is 20 x 34 with lofts. Right now it is only a shell.
Any advice help anyone could offer would be great.
Thanks!

Don't know much about them but if the Amish use them then they must work well. I have never heard anything bad about them and there are several forum members who use them. I think a DS stove will serve you well with constant use or occasional use. I think they will do anything a Harman will do with a cheaper price tag.
