Just make sure you add bacteriastat to the water. (You'd be amazed how fast the water gets nasty!)
Consumer Reports recommends emptying the humidifier out, scrubbing the inside & then refilling.......DAILY!! ( yeah, right)

I normally do. Got it!! Need to get some today. Daily, I don't think so.
