Hitzer 50-93 Overfriring

Modern and vintage hand fired coal stove are similar to a wood stove and in some cases can burn either. They need to be regulated and fed by hand usually every 12 to 24 hours depending on your usage. They require no power to operate making them ideal for rural settings with long power outages.

i've got 2 questions. is the hopper being used? and do these stoves have ANY secondary air or glass air wash system ?

No secondary air for the Hitzer EZ-Flow stoves.

Seems like I remember reading about a stove that had bolt holes or something like it, in the ash pan/grate area that needed plugged.. Is this the stove?? Anybody know?
