Is there enough overlap on the edges to allow for cast iron's 1/8 to the foot of shrinkage ?

I assume those are Glenwood 8 inch round covers ? Seems Glenwood had some variation in size of round covers labeled as 8 inch. On my Sunny 208 the covers are actually 8-1/2 inch diameter - are yours also ?

We had a tough time finding that size for my Sunny at Wilson's. And they rarely turn up on eBay. Lots of ones that were slightly smaller.

If recast would still fit for an 8-1/2 round cover opening of 8-5/8 inch recess, put me on the list for a recast.

Yes these are 8” covers I’ll drop a tape on the lid opening when I get home, my fairy will just barely take it the glenwood is a little more sloppy, however there is a solid 1” all the way around to assure it won’t fall in. In one if the pics I sent it’s upside down, the outer part the sits into the fire box measures 17x7 1/4”, I’ll measure the actual diameter when I get home.
I’ll make a list of people who want one i assume the more I order the cheaper they would be, I definitely want another one for my fairy in the camp

Ok, at those measurements it will have enough cooktop surface overlap all around the sides and ends, .... even allowing for 1/8 inch to the foot recast shrinkage.

Please put me on your list

Ok. Sounds good.

Are they all to be shipped to you and then you reship mine to me and I pay you ? Or, like the Glenwood magazine project, have Tomahawk ship direct to me and I pay them ?

I did not know they would ship them out like that separately. That will certainly save on shipping them twice and I had no plans of marking them up so that’s fine. How was that done? Was a list sent with the original as to who and where they needed to ship them to?

Those who wanted a magazine(s) contacted Al at Tomahawk and gave him the project name and their shipping address. Then Al billed each of us and we sent him the payment.

Thanks Dana. I found a good outer ring cover at Wilsons to replace the broken one that was on the stove, so I have 6 good covers now. I was just amazed that with all the 8 inch covers Wilson has, not one matched the 8- 1/2 cover of my 208 range. Same for years of looking on eBay.
