I do not have a water front in this one, the tank is more for looks, it is functional but I don't have water plumbed to it.
I do not know when the "patten shelf" came out but I have one for a model B marked 1882 it looks identical but it's 2" wider

I assume this stove would be more expensive than a similar newer model that has all the chrome?

That stove looks bluish black through forum pictures. Is that because of the forum or another factor?

Doesn’t look like stove polish, but paint, possibly.

Does look very nice. I like the styling almost better than some of the other newer Glenwood’s we recently discussed here. Maybe it’s the squareness look that I like.

I believe it's my phone giving the bluish tint, I get the same question alot from my online adds.

As far as price, without the warming closet this would be a $5k stove with it closer to $10k, just for the fact that they just don't exist. I've been researching for weeks and cannot even find a picture of another one, the closest is a 1887 sales pamphlet I have with a Glenwood B on one page and a Elmwood on the other but the mantle is different.
I did paint it with thermolux with a top coat of oil based polish, I much prefer this style of cookstove, I think it's the Clean crisp lines with just enough filigree with the sunbursts and dasies to make it pop.

I agree, Dana. Very nice lines.

So I take it this is one you have fully restored? Nice work. Looks brand new.

Yes it was a last minute project, (should have been working on customers stoves) I blasted it and put it together to sell and the more I walked around it the more I fell in love with it so my son and I played musical stoves and switched them out.
I have a Glenwood oak 16 in the living room that's only a few years newer and they kind of match.

Dancing blue ladies of the differnt kind.

Tommorows lunch or supper might be burnt or scapped..lol

Gas side is insulated all around, but not the floor. Will keep heat from escaping the oven and over heating the space.

A Leonard and Baker Woodland Leader 8-20.
Identical to a Fairmount with a little japan work on both solid fuel doors.

Has jizium grates.

Cooking pancakes in the 1800s kitchen.
I will most likely be posting a lot of cooking and recipes using coal in the coming months. If you would like to see more, please let me know. Not many people making videos cooking with coal.

38 degrees this morning. Solid fuel coffee, instead of liquid fuel coffee.

Little heat warms the bones also.
