I'm glad I lit the match yesterday. Ice on the patio table but a nice 75 inside.

Ok. I just put my final hod in the hopper... FOR THE FIFTH TIME!

Looks like it's finally gonna get seasonal tomorrow in the Lehigh Valley.

I can't believe anyone is still burning. I shut down what seems like months ago. Sure it gets a little cool in the house overnight but with the windows open what would you expect. :D

:D the swings up here on the plateau don't have safety straps 8-)

there is sometimes a 12* difference from up here in the Pines to down at the Gap, in the 'Burgs.....

We had snow the other day, folks down there looked at me like I was crazy when I told em

Kinda like that look that the Stove Fairy gets when he trodds the beaten path to Chester NY....

this area is where they used to farm ice, to supply the folks in News Yorks City and Filth-a-Deltheia.. so there's remenants of cold damp air, everywhere

Thought I would be done by now, however, I am still burning. Snow and mid 30 F temps dictates my keeping the coal stove burning. I actually enjoy this.

Thought I was done. Had to get dressed and go out and buy some burn bags to lite off the Econo 1 this morning. Wife of 42 years was cold and if I want to make another year I had to get that stove lit!!!

Weather report said FREEZE WARNING for tonight. What is going on ? Memorial day Sunday and they predict a freeze warning? Where is Al Gore when you need him?
