Unless they are curved or special on some way or another, the firebrick are in two standard sizes, 1"x4.5"x 9", and 2"x 4.5x9". These sizes are from memory, so I may be off a little. But just ask for half thick or full thickness firebrick at any brick sales place or lumberyard that carries masonry supplies. They cost between $1-$2 each.

I'm looking for some fire bricks and so far the only ones I've found are $4 to $5 each. I need to keep looking.

Call the brickyard or masonry supply store, you should pay no more than a $1-1.50.
