Heat Output

Modern and vintage hand fired coal stove are similar to a wood stove and in some cases can burn either. They need to be regulated and fed by hand usually every 12 to 24 hours depending on your usage. They require no power to operate making them ideal for rural settings with long power outages.

Hand Fed Coal Stove: Hitzer, 3095

GentsMy son has Hitzer 3095 same as me.e has about 1500 sq. feet house average insul. an good windows .To get to the point if 3095 is tad small but 5093 too big any stove recommendations for a stove at say 70000 btus .Note 1 story house.Looking 4 something in between size in a hand fired .

DSM should have a stove in that size...
I am not an engineer, train or otherwise!
I stay at a Holiday Inn at least once a year!
Most of all I do have common sense and a practical application of logic.
Oh, add humor, on the dry side, along with a wee bit 'o sarcasm.
