It was for me. Stoker coal is rather easy for me to get directly at the mine. I bought about 1,000 lbs. back in '07 for $35.00,and still have 2-1/2 55 gal. drums full.

Around here, many of the Blacksmith/Farrier's now use propane forge's for hot shoeing.

DJ - I did a little light reading on blacksmithing, but I don't understand why bit is used instead of anthracite. Is this just an availability issue?
