Has it gotten cold enough to run some anthracite through the stove ? Very nice weather wise over here lately, even though I love the snow I can't complain about mid to upper 70's we are having.

Well Keith, with all the money I made with those 2 Vid, it will be very hard to make an other one so hard to spend it
Not on the ant yet but could be soon, night at 0*C (32*F). If I could only stop to find something to do on the Sunny. I just finished to make the air control air tight, surfaces weren't flat and I replaced the riveted "bolt" "rod" sorry I don't know the word, anyway the thing holding the 2 parts together with a st.st bolt and put a spring on the inside so it's now adjustable.
Oops, I should make an ash pan lid.

I check on this thread every couple days to see if you have that stove fired up yet. 30F this morning at my house, I think you can get the matches ready after the warm weather blows out of town this weekend.

What have you found that works better then the high temp silicone for sealing the Mica windows ? I used the high temp silicone last year on my old Mica but I think there may be a better way that lasts much longer.

Well, on the Bride HT silicone is the best cause burning at very low temp. in the small living room.
Cement can make a good job but not esy to work with on very small supports and then doesn't hold very well. On the Sunny I didn't sealed the mica and will see...I just dream to find someday a really small, less than 1/8" rope gasket so it could be use for very small places.

Something like this is what I was thinking too
It isnt 1/8" but it is 1/4" to 3/16 which may work pretty well.
