80 during the day 30s at night. Been running ahs only at night, the best part is it will hold a fire for a few days without power.
So I turn it off during the day and turn it back on at night.

If it's not responding to any thermostat heat calls during the day and therefore not firing anyway, what advantage do you gain by shutting it off during the day?

Lost out on the one match deal back in March but after that warm spell relit with match #2 and still going, they are calling for snow on Monday 4/23 and night time temps only in the 30s. So it looks like I might be burning till May again this year. Still have plenty of coal left so as long as I can keep the chill out I don't really care how long I burn till.

If my system was hooked up correctly you would be correct, but since I have a circulator thats always on and overpowering my zone circulators which are connected to thermostats its a fubar mess.

Furthermore my hydro air is not tied to the thermostats either its using a honeywell thermostat on the supply side which also causes issues.
