I bought a Chubby from SalemCoal today. He gave me a great deal. I got it home and into my basement. I have to go out and get some coal, stove pipe, dampers, etc. tomorrow. Hope to have it fired up at some point. I will have the laptop at the ready with Larry Trainer's video and Nepacrossroads ready to go. I have had a Keystoker 90K since November, 2010 and love coal. This will be my first time with a hand fired stove. Am looking forward to it. :D :dancing:

Félicitations, you will like to work a hand fired stove, Larry's video is a very good one. Also watch those from William, very helpful.
Have fun with it.

Congrats on your stove. I am waiting on some parts from larry so I can get mine back together and put in place can't wait. Keep us posted and let us know how she's burning. Did you get the large or jr.? and what size area do you have it in? The thread I had started is I finally got one.

When I got home after picking it up last night I walked in the house and yelled out "I got a Chubby." I got a few laughs. I bought the Sr. I have it in my basement approx 1700 sq ft. I have a Keystoker 90K on the main floor. I am going out this morning to get supplies and hope to have it going soon after I get home and get it all set up. :|

I am soooooo happy for you!!!!!! Remember the satire about Bill and Monika on Imus in the morning.......damned funny!!! You obviously have an understanding group at home, because with the way all the tight a$$es are here, they would have you locked in an 8 by 8 for 20 years! :D :D :D :D :D

Congrats, just don't forget to take a lot of pics. This is a forum requirement. People have been hunted down like a rabid wild dog for not providing pictures so for self preservation take some pics. Video would be the cats meow. Enjoy the stove.

The snowman.
