Thanks for the thoughts.

I've been spending time on the 'Coal Bin' thread seeing what others are doing. With our situation, building a nice size basement bin and taking delivery in late summer seems to be the best approach to get 5/10 tons inside, dry, and to temperature. I first need to find time to do it among all the other projects. However, we're getting the snot kicked out of us this year with snowfall, so the bin is rapidly moving to the top of the list. I'm having trouble even getting outside to the pile that's 25' from the house.
