I will be the first to admit that I've developed an addiction to this web site! I look at it probably 3-4 times per day, more so on weekends! It is truly a great source of knowledge and information.

How many of you will admit to being so (or MORE so) addicted? C'mon, fess up!!

It's actually a compliment to all of you "out there" that this is such a great web site!

If I am to graduate from Coal College I must attend the classes. Sure a little side humor helps but the core of learning is essential when I have a 7000' Victorian Leakbox and HO just passed $4 and is heading north quickly. I am too old to freeze to death. Now, do I really need to be up at 5AM looking at a birds eye view of a Jeddo coal shovel?????? OK, it's an addiction.

After you hit rock bottom find anthracite anonymous, only then can you begin to recover from your addiction. Good luck.

I'll admit that I'm addicted. I check my sight at least twice a day if not three or more. My wife and kids think I'm nuts. But yes, I thoroughly enjoy chatting and shooting the breeze with my new coal-burning friends. I also agree that there is a wealth of information here. I've already learned so much more than I ever knew before. I'm grateful to everyone for all the help and answers to my questions!

I read on the forum on my iphone and get email notifications of new posts in the EFM section.

Addendum to what I already said:

I think this is probably as bad as my daughter texting all the time. Honestly, I could probably check this sight at least 4 times a day, and when I get home, this is one of the first things I do. I like the term "coalaholic". I'm right there, I think.

My name is Smithy and I have a cross addiction you see it not just the appliances its the coal. Sometimes I like to heat metal up in the coal and then shape it into things. Sorry i'll get it right eventualy

I can stop burning anytime I want to. I do it once a year,usually around mid April.

The only problem I have with it, is all them people that think I've got a problem with it.
