Ahh..yeah, you're stove is the size of a house. I dunno, but that could be the cause of you burning too much coal.
That is an impressive stove.

I've got a hand fired myself--have you checked your bottom draft holes, they might be open a tad to much--just play around with them & keep us posted

Do you need confined space training to enter that stove in the spring for cleaning?
Also, check all the gaskets...they may cause for air leaks as well. By the look of it, you'd probably have around $100+ worth of gasket rope.

There aint no draft holes, just doors to scoop out the ashes. Thers so much ash maybe I keep the doors open to long shovlin out the ash. Might get a bigger shovel.freetown fred wrote:I've got a hand fired myself--have you checked your bottom draft holes, they might be open a tad to much--just play around with them & keep us posted

Finally somebody makes sense. When can you meet me at the border with a car load of bricks.nortcan wrote:franco, one thing I could do for you and only because it's you, I can help you to reduce the fire Pot. I did it on my stove and it works very well...

Here I come. I will also bring sliding doors to place them over the loading doors. They will help to burn over the fire gasses as you learned me for my Vigll...could gain some BTU...I will ask Freetown F to join us, he is very good for air adjustments...franco b wrote:Finally somebody makes sense.
