Well, about 3/4 of a ton left. We have gone thru about 4 ton since the First of Nov. Will be getting another 3 ton this week.
But, thats running 2 stoves to heat this big old house. My Keystoker and Hyfire. So, a around a ton a month, maybe a little more.

I have coworkers in my shop with $700.00 or $600.00 per month heating bills, that would bowl me over. The family room is 78, the upstairs 65 to 68, and the garage is in the 60's and I have not even used the $900.00 worth of coal I bought

I will have used 3 Ton of nut come the end of Feb & will get another 3 Ton delivered then--It'll give me a good start for next year. It's been a long, cold friggin winter--I lit up the first part of Oct.--yea, that $700.00 a month would make me cringe too Useing a hand fired, heating a 2500 sq 200 yr old farmhouse--I'm a happy, toasty camper --$230.00 a ton then---$230.00 a ton now

Since mid October to Monday I've used right around 4 tons. Waiting for my 3 ton load to be delivered today or tomorrow. That puts me at about 1ton/month for 72° day and night and all the hot water we can use.
Right now we've burnt $1150.00 with a projected 'nother ton and a half coming in at $420.00
That will be $1600.00 compared to $2600.00 for Propane two years ago. Of course I still have to subtract the summer LP usage for clothes drying and hot water but even if that comes to $400.00 I'm still way more comfortable in my house than with LP, heating my garage, and saving a grand to boot.

Went through about 3 tons out of a total of 4.5. So... 4.5 * $150/ton = $675 + Gas to the breaker and back i'll say $25 to make it an even $700. Much better than 2 years ago when I went through near $2000 worth of oil and my house wasn't nearly as warm or comfortable.

So far I've burned just about 3 tons and some change since early October heating 2,500 sf of living space and my 1200 sf basement. Usually, I burn about 4-4.5 tons a season since moving back to NY. That's a little more than twice what I was using when I lvived in SEPA. As this winter is colder thn the last few I expect I'll use close to 5 tons for the current season.

That's cutting it close! I'm glad you're all set now.WNY wrote: had about a week or so left!
Geepers, you people in upstate NY are having a hellofa winter. Generally it's about the same or a bit colder here in Maine, but this year you started getting cold sooner and have simply had a nasty year so far. Maybe an early Spring will even things out. I just looked in todays paper. We are very close to "normal" for cold this season.
