Hello All,
If you have a moment I could use your help.
I purchased a home that had a Seville furnace in the basement ready to go. I had the fluepipe replaced and some small amount of ductwork added.
I checked with town hall to make sure I didn't need it reinspected and was told they had never received an original permit for the furnace.
The building inspector came out today and said everything looked good. However, he wanted to see the owners manual and or testing report from PFS corporation prior to approving, which I do not have.
I called PFS and they no longer have the reports. Does anybody have a manual I could copy or does anyone know anything about the manufacturer (Seville)? I've attached a picture of the manufactures plate on the back of the stove and a picture of the front.
I would really appreciate any help you could provide.
Regards,
David

Hello EarthWindandFire,
Thank you very much for the reply. I am sorry I haven't been on the site this winter and didn't see it sooner. I will contact Gordon tomorrow.
I was able to pass inspection using an identical manual for an identical stove sold under the Ashley name.
My draft blower died this evening so I am now trying to determine my next move.
Thank you again!
Regards,
David

Hi There,
The furnace was built by “Jensen Metal Products”. Jensen was purchased by “United Stove Company” in 1996. United Stove Company sold the furnace under the ‘Ashely” name. I spoke with a representative from United Stove Company he was able to help me locate an owner’s manual that would encompass the Seville product, which I have attached.I have the identical manual for an identical stove sold under the Ashley name.
Good luck with the stove@
Thanks,
David
