That's good.

Cape

You're very lucky to be in that unique saturation.

Your chubby should be enough to heat your whole house, what do you have 1200sq ft? I have roughly a 1900sq ft split level house with my stove on the top floor with a fan sucking warm air downstairs I can keep the top floor in the mid 70's and the bottom floor comfortable with a little assistance from my oil heat in the low 70's. Once I move the stove downstairs it should keep the whole house nice and warm without my using oil or wasting electricity.
Yeah, it should be. It is a 1200 sq. ft. house that has a perpetual window open. House never went above 66* last night. Although, it was my fault. I've been sick so I took some medicine that made me a zombie last night. So, in my half slumber I shook the stove down, re-charged it and didn't reset the air to 500* like I usually do in this weather. I woke up this morning to the sound of the furnace coming on for a second time. I checked the stove and it was only set for 400*. I'm seriously considering staying home from work tomorrow to get to work on insulating the basement

Yeah, I have it set to open at .04; I put one washer on it but I honestly don't think I need it. I don't want to remove it yet because there is a problem with the bolt. Its stripped.

It still hasn't helped with heating this dump though.

IOF...
Do you have a Field Controls 'RC' or 'M' baro damper...
http://www.fieldcontrols.com/rc.php
http://www.fieldcontrols.com/m_mg1.php
Or the crappy 'Tee Joint Draft Control'...
http://shop.fieldcontrols.com/6-Inch-Black-Tee-Jo ... TJ06-B.htm
From your description of adding weight to the baro it sound like the cheap one...
If so upgrade to the RC or M...
much better...

The first one. Field Controls Type "RC". Looks like mine might be an old one. But definitely not a "T" type.

Kind of a bad picture. I also assure you, it is set for .04" as read by my manometer.

I didn't think I needed to add weight to it. Which is probably why I messed up the bolt / weight. I'm just not having any luck here lately.

I run a type M Fields Baro, much better quality than the RC.
