I have a clayton wood/coal furnace that is forced air with a 160,000 BTUs Model 1800. I am interested in burning with anthracite coal. I hear it is tricky to get it light & keep burning. Could someone help me with this? My sq ft is approx 2200 sq ft. The house was built in 1989. Wood is getting difficult to get. Thanks, Skully

Successfully Burning Anthracite Coal in a Clayton Furnace

Here is a thread with lots of info. A search on "Clayton" or "US Stove" will also get other results if you need more info.
