Cool Air Comin From Magic Heater

i bought a magic heater for my Harman stove and the problem I have is that when I get the stove fired up and and goin it blows out warm air and bout after and hr o so it just blows cool air. does ne one hace ne suggestions and can help me out??

Most coals stoves don't put out as much heat as wood stoves up the chimney, more efficient in keeping the heat in the stove, so the heater doesn't put out as much heat. You would have to run a pretty hot fire to get good heat thru them.

if you do a search on Magic Heat, Heat Reclaimer, etc.. on here, most people don't use them. Some do however.

I was under the impression that there is a switch in the unit that only allows it to blow when the temperature reaches 150.

Yes the thermostat kicks on when inside stack temp Hits 150F there is a switch in the back of the heat reclaimer Auto or Manual setting. On auto it is controlled by the thermostat /snap switch inside 150F on Manual setting it is on all the
time .Every Hand fed I ever burned I used one on it wood & coal also used one on the old oil boiler.
They work great if the stack temps are high enough & if your burning the stove hot you will get 30 to 35 k extra BTU out of one .
