Got Load of Coal and Fired up

got 3.5 ton loose coal and fired up the hitzer 82 today. took pictures I will post some asap .

i took pipe apart and cleaned out fly ash . wow lots of ash . about 2 gallons in about 12 feet of pipe . then moved baro 2 feet farther from stove and added an MPD . I shook down after 24hour burn and had only about a gallon of ash . stove ran all day at about 300 . that amount of ash seems very low compared to last year . using new coal supplier . hope this low asah continues .

What coal were you using...

i burnt kimmels all last year . got coal this year from a guy that does it for fun on the side . he won't say where he gets it from . I've seen one posting on this forum about this guys coal . they said it comes from Hegins coal . don't know how he knows .

looked in on stove this morning . stove temp 400 pipe 100+ . I could lay may hand right on pipe . I think MPD makes a huge difference .
