I believe this is a Glenwood Baseheater for sale on Craigslist/Cape Cod for $450.00 If you want one for as cheap as you'll probably ever find one here it is.

If it the one I looked at last year...
It is overpriced at $450...
The pic is from the Barnstable Stove Shop...
Not of the actual stove...
The thing was a train wreck...
Needs lots of work...
Busted cast parts...
I can put some eyeballs on it to confirm...

It was the same one I looked at last year...

Thanks a lot Cape Coaler. You never know until you check it out. I wonder if it will turn up again somewhere all restored for a much higher price tag?

PT Barnum assures all of us it will definitely show up again......another one born every minute.
Shallow gene pool syndrome.

It is much safer having forum members help out, and the cost is very affordable. :o ;)

Well it was $850 last year...
This time it was $450...
Hope they did not pay more than...
$200...
Needed to be Nickled, blasted, missing parts, had some serious cracks...
Hence the picture from Barnstable Stove...
Needed a full restoration to look as good as the picture...

Then from what you are saying is that it will cost as much to restore as one that is already done. I paid $2,500 for my Glenwood No 6 and I feel like I got a bargain. It has proven to be the one of the best investments I have ever made.
When I saw this one here for $450.00 I just couldn't believe it.
