Made in Quakertown--1970's & 80's fuel--WOOD only apparently---she's a monster lookin thing ( large )

Thanks!... that is a neat article. My father-in-law has burned that coal stove for 30 years as his only heat. Shake it down in the evening, load it up with nut, take the ash pan out to cool, and the next morning dump the ash into a bag. This was the routine every day. He has had the glass replaced a couple times and the shaker handle once.
The stove was made in 1980, he thinks, bought it new in Quakertown. We were trying to compare it to the Glacier Bay I just bought and will be installing soon.
