Well our new addition to the home arrived from Harman yesterday. You can see some pics here

Harman Magnafire coal insert.
Our chimney is offset but in great shape. They sent 9 inch oval pipe that gets up to tile flue but not into it...just a little too large, so I plan to get an oval to round adapter and another 5ft section of 8" flex. Maybe someone can guide me with this. I was offered some suggestions to re-line the entire chimney but that seems excessive and not necessary as far as local code is concerned. The previous installation was a wood insert which worked very well just constant tending was getting old. When I removed the wood insert I was suprised to see just a rectangular metal pipe that went up into the smoke box and not up to the flue.
