Lets Talk Gaskets and Cement.
Im going to be needing some type of gasket sealer or glue or cement for my Surdiac glass and top door and door seals. . And Im the kinda guy who likes to have everything around here. Being that Im not in coal country . And knowing sealant or sealer or cement cant take the heat. Whats everyone using for these things. Where can rolls of seal or rope seals or tubes of cement be be bought at.

To make the gaskets stick better in my Mark III I just hit the grooves with Hi-temp paint, then jammed the gasket back in while the paint was tacky. Seemed to work ok .... but if I were to do it again, I'd put a little Permatex Ultra Copper gasket sealer back there & shut the door to hold it in place until it cures. That stuff will handle temps up to 700°. I use it on everything. Use sparingly (unless you have a GM V8), because it's ugly orange.
