I have a friend with this stove, looking
to sell. I'm sorry I don't have better
pictures, but it's all they could send me.

Is there a market for these stoves? if so,
does anybody have an idea of value?

thanks,
Dutch

I have that exact same stove in my shed. It was in our hunting cabin for years and before that it was in my grandfathers house. Those jokers throw an incredible amount of heat. we used to have to open the windows sometimes because my dad would have the house 90+dergrees !!!

Those Warm Morning stoves also do a good job burning bituminous coal. US Patent Number 2,255,527 describes the firebox design of these stoves. It was modified a bit in later years, but the same principle applies. Since Lock Stove Works was in St. Louis, MO, they had to be able to burn that 'high quality' bituminous mined down in So. Illinois.

I personally like the cabinet versions with that classic two-tone brown cabinet. Very retro.

My parents had one of those. Amazing amount of heat. I've seen them for about 75 bucks on ebay.
