i don't know how you could use this stove on the floor the ash door was only a few inches off the ground, even the load door was way too low here are some pics, this fire box is tremendous took one to show the belly of the beast, nice and easy to work on now I can actualy see inside the ash door lifted her with a hoist put some legs on

I have the exact same stove, bought it brand new in 1984. has a hot air chamber, fan in rear lower area. they came with 5" legs welded on. top vent. I bet someone cut them off to use it in a fireplace at one time.

the legs are about 5" but that is way to low to get easy access to the ash pan and shaker handle, do you have any info on the stove, no blower on this model

yes I do have the owners manual for it somewhere. Bought it as a back up heating source in the

6500 sq ft house. the top duct is like 8 x 11 and puts out huge heat. I will post pic of it and look for manual in a few days after I go over there and find it. co out of biz I guess. they are built like a sherman tank!!

Your very welcome. ask if you want hard copy made or scaned and sent . the six hundred bucks then would prolly be 2600 these days!!

like a new Martin guitar I bought in '75 for $550 is now selling new for $2800 same thing, same people makin em too...
