Tent Stoves ??

what kind of coal would some one burn in a so called tent stove chimney height un known??

Hand Fed Coal Stove: Efel Arden giant 084-65
Hand Fed Coal Furnace: modified Gibraltar LCC double door model
Coal Size/Type: Stove nut and pea
Other Heating: Burnham boiler #2 fuel oil

pea to nut anthracite would probably work best and you'll want some wood to keep things going from time to time. it needs a grate to burn coal to any degree of efficiency. without a grate you may as well stick to mostly wood. you could use a makeshift grate from an old grill but might have to replace it pretty often.

a few lengths of stove pipe attached.
