Hand Fired Stoves

Morso makes a coal model with grate, etc. The primary air is at the bottom of the door and the secondary at the top. I just remember how quickly a coal fire responds to having the ash door open and I wonder if the design is a problem or if it is something else. Raymond in Vermont
