How Many BTU's ?

anyone know the BTU output in a warm morning 400 stove? just curious.

The stove is rated to hold 100 lbs. of coal. I would say it can produce well over 50,00 BTU very comfortably without over firing.

That is a great question. All I know is that it holds a lot of coal, and puts out heat like you would not believe. All without electricity! :-)

If it holds 100 lbs of coal, i'd say it is close to the size of an hitzer 82 like I have and I can get in that range, so it is probably in the 80k BTU range.
