How Many BTU's ?

anyone know the BTU output in a warm morning 400 stove? just curious.

The stove is rated to hold 100 lbs. of coal. I would say it can produce well over 50,00 BTU very comfortably without over firing.

That is a great question. All I know is that it holds a lot of coal, and puts out heat like you would not believe. All without electricity!

If it holds 100 lbs of coal, i'd say it is close to the size of an hitzer 82 like I have and I can get in that range, so it is probably in the 80k BTU range.
