We have an antique Bengal gas or coal fired stove in great condition. We are located in Brooklyn, NY and it was original to the apartment. The building was built in the 1840's. This stove seems to be from the 1920's. The manufacturer is The Floyd-Wells Co. (correction)from Royersford, PA. We are asking $1000. Check the pictures. It is very handsome. See pictures below. Very nice unit! Im a bay ridge boy myself and my stove was also made in Royersford, there were several stove works there in years past. mine was made in 1860 and works great!
http://www.livingplaces.com/PA/Montgomery_County/ ... rough.html "After Keeley's death in 1883, the firm of Floyd, Wells & Company occupied the plant. This complex eventually burned during the early 1970s. Three years before the arrival of Floyd, Wells & Company, Grander, Rogers & Company, later the Grander Stove Company, was founded."
how much you think that weighs? It looks like Floyd maybe not lloyd..

P.S. any 122 s models for sale?

Thank you for the link. I have not been able to get much specific history. And also thank you for the correction. It was manufactured by Floyd-Wells Co. of Royersford, PA. My husband is also a Bay Ridge boy, 81st Street, but this stove is in Vinegar Hill. In regard to the weight, it is pretty heavy but can be moved in three pieces. Sorry, this is the only stove we have for sale.

That link looks pretty interesting. I think I'll try to pick up some history and post the stove there as well. As far as the 122S goes, my husband is the Volvo afficionado. His favorite was a '63 544 named Tutti Frutti because of the wild paint job.
