Hello,
I have just installed my stratfor sc75. Running fine- nice heat, I have installed a baro and I am confused where to set it,
I have taken some draft measurments about 2 inches from the back of the stove (baro is close to back of stove)
with the door open its about .09, with the door closed its sbout .07, the temp here is about 35 degrees,
where should I put the weight???
Thanks ALL

If .07 is a constant reading you get while the stove is operating (normal heat output)I think the draft is a bit high.
I would shoot for .04/.05 (inches of water column) for a hand fired stove but other members on this forum may have a differing opinion so check out the links below to help decide what to set it at.
BTW, you don't want to set the baro when it's windy out because wind can drastically affect draft readings.

Thanks Guys,
This Thing put out some serious heat!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Nothing like the old Vigilant, great stove though... I will miss her ...
I don't even have to put on the blower... Keeps the house @ 1800 square feet about 70 degrees..
Top her off in the morning @ 600 am and come home @ 600 pm and she is still @ 350-400 degrees. Shake her and top
off and good till next morning, empty ash pan one a day...
Still trying to figure out the damper.... I will figure it out soon, hopefully...
Thanks Again
Ken
