with great reluctance, I am planning to sell my 507. trying to start the downsize, didn't want to list on my revised homeowners policy, wife considers it uncomfortable, etc, etc, etc. I would like help pricing, maybe find a buyer in NH/ Norther New England. The stove is in very good shape. The inside removable castings burned out and have been replaced by fire brick. Burns nicely on anthracite nut and stove. Red enamel turns deep brown when up to temp. Rotary grate works, handle is in great shape. Still have a bag or two of Blaschack to throw in. I always enjoyed this forum and trust your advice. Thanks!

When I was looking for one of these for over a year before I bought my Chubby JR, they were usually in the $350-500 range, with 500 being in excellent shape inside and out with no damage. They are cute stoves and work well, so arent real hard to sell as long as not over priced. With Fuel oil cheaper the price may have dropped some. The above is all just my opinion and I could be wrong.

I have found a red Jotul 507 in my brothers things. It is very heavy. Looks just like the one in the post above by warminmn. Its sitting in my shed here in Northern Il about an hour northeast of Chicago. Has not been used in many years. I would like to sell it to anyone interested. Best offer. I have no use for it. There are many other things he left including a Uni-saw and a spindle shaper. They are big heavy items that need to go.

oops. I meant an hour north west of Chicago. (An hour northeast of Chicago would be in Lake Michigan : ) )

I know you posted this sometime ago, but I was wondering if you are still selling this stove.

Thanks,

Lindsay
