I was up at the no9 mine museum sonday .Buried in artifacts was a mine telephone from the second level .Circa 1930 or 1940 .Still worked .You out of town guys must visit there are so many items dating back to 1900 era .There must be two dozen pics of former breakers of the old Lehigh company .jack

took a few friends there in 2017 had a blast. plan on going this summer unless they make a fuss about naked faces.

We are Open .You guys planning vacation try the mine tour .Also on site is a non running Steam Locomotive . The kids are allowed to play on it .like a Real Big Lionel Loky .Open now friday to sonday .jack

First call on that Operational Mine Phone is probably going to be a Robo-Call regarding the Mine Car's Extended Warranty! Crap!!

I need to get up there! I live less than an hour away and haven't toured it yet. I've been there, checked out the outside. I liked the flower beds with big coal chunks in them. Gave me some ideas for my house lol! I just need to find where I can buy big chunks of coal!! I know they do an event there every year, coal miner days or something like that. I want to enter the coal shoveling contest! I can empty a ton and a half off my pickup pretty quickly, I may have a shot!!!
