Guys there are 3 mine tours in Pa .Pioneer in Ashland an Mc Dade Park in Scranton pa .Depending how close you are Go See One Of Them .The 3 tours show the Brutal workplace how miners madr ther living .I did mining for 8 years .Have you ever carried or Drug A 7 foot Oak Log up a45 degree pitch for 90 plus feet . Or drilled holes in rock that created so much Dust You Could Not See Your Buddy 9 feet away .Pick a tour and See how coal is dug see the dangers the damp work area . Thanks to Jack the entrance to #9 mine is looking much better than in the picture above.

I have a good feeling that if I lived near Jack he would be a great friend and mentor.
