My troubles are o'er Missis Murphy Chorus: And it's oh-ho-h0, my first thing I'll pay,
For the Ditchman next door told me straight Me store bill's the first thing I'll pay,
That the breaker starts full time on Monday A new parlor suit and a lounge I will buy,
That's what he told me at any rate. And an organ for Bridgie, Hurray!
Sure the boss he told Mickey this morning, Me calico shirt I'll throw in the dirt
When he's bout to enter the mines, And in silk ones won't I cut a shine?
That the coal was quite scarce (down)'bout New York, Cheer up Missis Murphy, we all will eat turkey
And the breaker would start up on full time. When the breaker starts up on full time.
Happy St Patricks Day, Jack & Maggie Murphy
