How Green Is My Valley .This movie made in Wales shows theSheave Wheels an Cages Or Elevators which brought men an coal from the depth of the coal mine .The movie has men Or Boys pushing small one ton coal cars to the elevator cage .Nice underground scenes . One gets the Family 4 sons an dad the patriarch all Coal Miners . An the Welsh owner or big boss .Up home I was told the following story .Three European Polish women were walking to church on the side walk . A wife of the Owner Was Walking Toward the 3 Polish women The Bosses wife Waited until The # three Polish Ladys Stepped In The Street . The Three New They must Move for the owner .Check it out .The Only Wrong scene Is The Black Smoke stack Since Wales Is Mostly Anthracite Mining .Jack Enjoy

When GE was great, they produced this ~1927 silent movie about how mining was done in the early 20th century.
