Check my post on the non-public tour of the Pioneer Coal Mine my brother and I made this past summer. We would like to go back, and the mine foreman said he would be interested in another tour that focuses on the technology of anthracite mining. I guess it would have to be before some of you start making hay. I contacted Lansford No.9 and they would also be interested in a non-public tour when they open in the spring. Hopefully, both mines might show us areas not open to the public if safety allows.

If anyone is interested in such tours, send me a private message and I will print it out and save it until I know when and how many people might be interested.

I just got an email from Lansford No.9. They said how about the last weekend in April?
