after last yr ( which my wife and i are still talking about ) i really hate to say i can't get there this week end but i hope everyone that does has a great time, and if you weren't with us last yr. do the mine tour it's something that you will enjoy and remember the rest of your life.

Was wondering if anything was afoot for a meet and greet....Cant get there on Labor day either King Coal, and my wife is still telling people about the great trip we had.

I'm tied up tighter than a Houdini Impersonator ! The larger problem is I can smell those stuffed cabbages all the way over in NE Ohio ! After having attended a Meet-N-Greet with my Wife for the first time,last year,I'm regretting not making this little 'Ol Get-Together ! Here's Hoping that the 'Ol No.9 Mine Labor Day Party is a Success ! Take Care,My Friend !

Way tied up here likewise for near future, but sounds like good time to be had there.

But on the subject of another Meet & Greet, if there is some intrest, I have a connection to possiblly set up and do a similiar tour as was had at last year's (@Lehigh) Meet &Greet over at one of Reading Coal's operations, whenever.

Any interest, anyone?

Could/should start another thread to have relative discussion and comments on this topic.

WE are interested in another field trip.....Just cant make it the first 10 days of any month as my wife is one of those Ninja accountants that have to work like it is a remake of the Christmas story every month.

Forgot the camera .We had a drizzle all day but still a good turnout .Hot ham an bean soup hit the spot .Toot toot .Halupki an other ethnic food made a great day .Mine tours were steady .Highlite was a Mural of a steam locomotive had been painted on the former powder house . I will follow up with pics .The lokiey seems to be coming out of a tunnel .There were half dozen volunteers serving food .As I said the picnic before is like a Nice Church picnic .If you can mark your caender for May 30 sonday an Second sonday in July the Labor day sonday .Jack
