Anyone heard of Bishop Coal? I found something online mentioning West Virginia. http://www.coalcampusa.com/sowv/flattop/bishop/bishop.htm

Someone locally said there is a place here selling Bishop coal. I'll have to call.

Thats a classic looking building and it's odd not to see any hills or mountains around a Coal Breaker not to mention no coal dirt but seeing as it's located pretty much in Farm country I guess they keep it clean .
I am always amazed at how the terrain changes from the sharp rising mountains and rock outcrops of the Coal fields of Northumberland and Schuylkill County to the more gentle rolling hills and rich soil of the farmlands in the Hegins Valley, I think it is the tail end of the Coal formations out that way . There is a board member here that is involved with the underground miners group I would love to chat with him about the coal deposits around our area
