I ride through Centralia at least twice a summer on the way to Cherry Springs. If the fire is still burning, it's not obvious from route 61. No steam or smell that I could detect.

I dirtbike ride and atv ride there, there is no underground fire anymore, a buddy of mine said his friend got the mineral rights and there suppose to tear up graffiti high way old 61 should be interesting to see how the people react. There is no smoke or heat from anywhere i found and i road a cupple of the new mines and found some hole from where they mined years ago
