At 10:30-11:00 in the audio of the podcast recording notes that most likely apps on your phone give out your location data almost continuously.

Its a 40 min vid, this 1/2min clip informs how companies and cops track you.

Its one of many reasons why I have no smarty phone. The cons are much greater than the pros.

Some might be interested, some might not care. All should know.

Yeah, I already gave up. If I rob a bank I'll toss it.

I also use a CC for all my purchases so I leave a trail anyway.

When I do something that forces me on the run my phone will be hitching a ride on an unsuspecting 18 wheeler. Use their tracking against them.

Doesn't have to be a smart phone. Most phones have had GPS tracking for close to 20 years. Only way to not be tracked is pull the battery out.

If you have one of the Easypass type gizmos in your car that records where and when you used the interstates and bridges that use toll recorders like Easypass.
