I always wanted a street bike but just don't feel safe with the other drivers. I did buy a CR500 when I was about 17 and still stupid. Too much bike for me, had to get rid of it or I would of been dead. I was actually toying with the idea of getting a touring bike for my trip in September. I'm guessing by the time I got to the Ohio I probably would of been saying to myself "What was I thinking?".
My buddy had a Buell back in the 90's, that was probably the nicest bike I ever saw. A bunch of us were standing around and he drove it up, it was something along the lines of "What is that and where do I get one?" Pretty sure this is the exact model bike he had.

Maybe pull that Harley power train and put in a Honda with an auto tranny in it
Maybe a call to one of the Veteran groups that helps wounded soldiers would know what to do as that would be kinda common, them wanting to ride bikes. Custom bike shops may know too but will want your money.

You know they are made in the USA? Think Harley owned them for while. It's OK to admit it's a fine looking bike.freetown fred wrote: ↑Thu. May. 04, 2023 12:00 pmWhat the hell is that Buell girly bike pix above doin here?????????????????

Scott, it's an imitation rice rocket--I know---new generation--All the electronics come from china & I don't have a clue about where the rest of it's made--Willy Davidson really screwed up when he put Harley on the stock market. Just sayin. I got a YOUNG buddy that had a Buell & he loves it--it's a supposed racein bike. Fine lookin???? To some I'm sure--to me???? Nope.

Fred do you have a frame leg mounted “ mouse trap “ style clutch actuator on that bike ?
If you do you could make a mount behind the clutch arm on the trans for that same spring and use the jockey shift type in this link ( available lots of places )
I used this style on my ‘73 super glide FX title racer for years

Be careful out there

Nice, Fred! Good to see you're still getting after it! Nice ride, Theo.
I guess I can't be part of the club with my rice-smoking 2-stroke. I'll show myself out.
