- Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood

Looks like that Axeman has a water pump and generator on board there. 
Same crappy weather lingering around these parts. Cold, rain, more cold, more rain - just can't get a break! Better than snow and ice, so I'll take it!
Finally got the EFM520 Highboy all insulated. I managed to make it work with ONE sheet of 1" foam board. Stuff was $35 after tax, so I'd be damned if I was gonna buy a 2nd one and use 2' of it. I threw some tape over the bare spot and filled it with expandable foam. Hey ... it might not be pretty, but it works! This ain't a damned beauty contest!
It's keeping my money in my wallet, where it belongs. Now the A/C won't have to fight the boiler all summer. It was expensive last summer ... but this summer electricity costs are 40% higher! I finished that a couple weeks ago, but just finished filling in the spots I missed with the foam a few hours ago. On to the next project. Noticed those familiar moisture beads forming around the ash door. Going to have to spray some oil on that! Rust never sleeps in this place ...
Shut the boiler down on 4/10, & have been on oil since. Gone through 1/4 tank so far. Not too bad considering the outside temps. Was ready to top off both tanks a couple weeks back, and wouldn't ya know, oil shot up again. Figures!
My weekend ends tonight. Back to the grind tomorrow. Plenty to do at the new job. Last week I repaired a dishwasher door, painted a warning sign on the floor, and hosed off what looked to be at least 15 years of grime from the A/C condenser units for the fella's offices, and our sh*thouse, in addition to the vacuuming of water in the boiler room, and miles of walking I do every night to make sure things aren't flooding ... or on fire, anywhere else in the many HUUUGE buildings.

Vacuum pump packing leak when not running. They've been cranked down as far as they can go. Summer rebuild scheduled!

Indeed I am! Not a bad thing. Makes the night go by pretty quick. Plus it's only 8 hours. Who works only 8 hours anymore? I didn't think there were still jobs like this out there these days!
