Thanx,Jack.. While this one's a "Tragic Cryin' Shame",it needed to be told. While some rules can become a repetitive, mindless pain in the ass, this story simply demonstrates how it can all go to Hell in an instant.. Damned Nightmare.. Keep Em' Coming Jack,Even These Rough Ones...

I had a freshly graduated chemist beginning work .. he asked if a chemical in a container was hazardous...I told him to figure it out.
He open up the vessel and took a nice big inhale of it. What a dum dum. It was acetic acid. Glacial. 7 years of college down the drain.
I'm sure we all have such anecdotes. I know I've done stuff where people say "How are you still alive?" LOL

Jack, thanks much for the mining history. So many deaths, especially back in the early 20th century.
I once found a death report on a distant relative in the mountain of Pa. reports. Died in a mining cart accident underground in 1910. Glen Burn mine, Shamokin. Age 72 and a Civil war veteran.
