After a few dry and hot days well into the 80's we finally got wet this weekend with a heavy fog overnight. The sun is burning it off pretty good but it dropped to 50° and feels quite cool in comparison. It looks like the stove will be getting morning wood fires early this week. The green is really growing and needs mowing.

Clean hand and fingernail. SHOCKING. What happened to the old Smitty?
 Yeah, it's embarrassing! I went back to the real world & quit the repair biz. The engineers finally won. Quit drinking 3 years ago, too!

I do miss my freedom, though - I feel like a prisoner, lol. Same thing, day in and day out - wake up, eat, drive with a-holes & slowpokes, work, sleep, repeat. No time for anything else. But at least I'll have a dollar or 2 to retire with when I'm 87. :D

Beside holding the record for getting a boiler into the basement fastest, you still have that talent for telling a story well. Years ago there were many magazines to submit stories to, but there might be a few left. Guns and outdoors.

Well, finished mowin around the in & out stalls today. Yesterday I had a young Amish neighbor come over & fluffed up the stalls & took down the plywood stall window covers, got the fence tightened up (deer play havoc with it winter time. You'd think they could jump a lil higher!! :)

Maybe tie some rags on the fence so the deer can see them??? Looks like your ready for spring now!

I keep a snow fence tight against some evergreens to stop low blowing snow and I get holes from coyotes running full throttle thru them, lol I bet that doesnt feel good as they are the wooden and wire fences.

That house looks huge, Fred.
I posted pics of tractors then took them down. Don’t want to count my chickens until they’re actually in my possession.

The JD 850 did turn over which is a good thing. The brake pedals seem frozen for some reason though.

The little Satoh Beaver (Mitsubishi) turns over also, but it won’t roll. The clutch pedal seems frozen and the linkage rod is bent, not a good sign. Did manage to get the gear lever into neutral, still wouldn’t roll. Didn’t mess with the range selector because I didn’t have time, but I’m assuming that doesn’t have anything to do with it not wanting to roll in neutral. I’m thinking we’ll have to separate the little tractor to get to the source of the problem. I don’t have much experience with these sort of things but I’ll be jumping in up to my elbows and I’m not a bit scared. Sad thing is, Levi has watched so many YouTube videos on tractors his knowledge is greater than mine.
