Yes, serious wind. Pulling a constant .10+ on the mano with the MPD fully shut. I think more cold wind is blowing in the house than hot air is leaving. We just have a lot of white sawdust in the air.freetown fred wrote: ↑Tue. Mar. 14, 2023 10:34 amLookin about a foot of new white stuff with serious winds

Well, snow has stopped--we got around 3 foot & wind was howling!!! Had some 6 ft. drifts--all plowed out now.

I had the great idea to plow at lunchtime to remove a few drifts. I broke through the frost and made a huge set of ruts, also dug up about 400 lbs of crushed stone. I back dragged the stone as best I could and took the plow off the truck, I don't care how much is snows - from this point on it can sit until it melts.

Yup. Same here. We had some coarse stone dumped in driveway at work in the fall. Ran a tamper over it multiple times. Well, it never really froze. Probably a third of it is now on the lawn.Rob R. wrote: ↑Wed. Mar. 15, 2023 12:49 pmI had the great idea to plow at lunchtime to remove a few drifts. Fred, did you plow with your truck that you just got back or did you have a tractor or something? Impressive snow.freetown fred wrote: ↑Wed. Mar. 15, 2023 12:35 pmWell, snow has stopped--we got around 3 foot & wind was howling!!! Had some 6 ft. drifts--all plowed out now.
We had just flurries yesterday and 50 mph gusts. Heard that some in the Pa. Poconos got a foot. Supposed to be something coming next Tues. and Wed. Then a double storm the following weekend.

No--had a buddy (works for the Town) stopped in for coffee & he figured the only way to get to the door was to plow his way in & just did the whole thing. Yeah, I don't think we've seen the last of Mom Nature--the old bitch!!!! She does have a sense of humor!!!!
